Meet Dr. Ashwani Juneja, a dynamic figure whose journey through the realms of media has been marked by innovation, scholarship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Born in Rohtak, Haryana, and nurtured in the bustling streets of Delhi, Ashwani’s academic odyssey began with his early education, culminating in a graduation from Delhi University in 1996.
Fueling his passion for visual storytelling, Dr.Ashwani Juneja embarked on a path of continuous learning, acquiring expertise in photography and video production from prestigious institutions such as the National Bal Bhavan, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, and Shaw Academy (Ireland). His academic pursuits reached new heights with the completion of a Ph.D. in Mass Communication in 2023, wherein he delved into the transformative impact of digital technologies on contemporary media practices.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ashwani Juneja has made significant contributions to academia and media alike. From serving as a cameraman at IGNOU EMPC to assuming roles as senior faculty and guest lecturer, his expertise has shaped the minds of countless aspiring media professionals. Additionally, Dr. Ashwani’s research interests span a wide array of topics, including Digital Broadcasting, Print Media, Event Journalism, and Public Relations Dynamics.
Additionally, Dr. Ashwani Juneja serves as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance and support as they navigate their academic and professional journeys. His door is always open, whether for academic consultation, career advice, or simply a listening ear.
His scholarly endeavors extend beyond traditional research, as evidenced by his participation in national seminars and his role as a Reviewer Board Member for esteemed journals. Dr. Ashwani’s commitment to addressing societal issues through academic inquiry was highlighted by his presentation on the impact of digital literacy programs on marginalized communities at a national seminar in 2024.
Armed with a wealth of academic achievements and a passion for exploring the frontiers of Mass Communication, Ashwani Kumar continues to inspire and shape the future of media, leaving an indelible mark on the ever-evolving landscape of communication studies.
