Dr. Deepak Kumar Prasad

Dr Prasad is currently working in the field of “Tribology and Condition monitoring” of roller bearing. He completed his Ph.D. in April-2024 from PDPM IITDM Jabalpur in the field of “Tribology and Condition monitoring”. He finished his M-tech in manufacturing technology from PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur in 2018. In M-tech he worked on Electric Discharge Deposition (EDD) process using EDM.

Professional Training/Experience:

• Work as organizing committee member of a workshop “Advances in Solor Energy Technology” on 18-september-2012 at SHIATS-DU Allahabad.
• Four Weeks training at Bharat Pumps & Compressor Ltd. (BPCL), Allahabad (2013).
• Faculty Development program on ‘Programming and App Development using MATLAB’ at PDPM-IIITDM, Jabalpur (2016).
• Short term training on “Research Methodology, Tools and Techniques for Engineers” at Jabalpur Engineering college, Jabalpur (2018).
• Participated in Design Workshop on Application of AI and IOT in smart system at IIITDM in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, JAPAN (2020).
