Dr. Nitish Kaushik is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth. He holds Ph.D. degree in Production and Industrial Engineering, specializing in Modeling and Simulation, Micro EDM Drilling from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi. Master of Engineering degree in Automated Manufacturing Systems from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, and Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from A.K.T.U., Lucknow.

His research interests focus on Modeling and Numerical Simulation, Micro-Machining, Non-Conventional Machining Processes, Friction Stir Welding, and Micro EDM Drilling. His academic contributions include over 4 SCI-indexed journal papers, 5 SCOPUS-indexed journal papers, and 1 book chapter, awarded the ‘Best Contributory Talk’ at ICPCM-2022 (International Conference on Processing and Characterization of Materials-2022) organized by the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela for his research paper titled “Size effect of electrode diameter on the hole quality in micro EDM drilling of CFRP composite.”
