Mr. Rajiv Kumar Jha

Assistant Professor

School of Law

Rajiv Kumar Jha is working as Assistant Professor in School of Law at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth. With a background in law & a passion for education, offers a distinct viewpoint to the classroom by fusing academic understanding with real-world experience from his work in a variety of legal roles to shape the legal minds of tomorrow.

Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Law from Amity University Gurugram, he is committed to expanding his knowledge and expertise in the field of law and academia. His area of research is Environmental Law, Public International Law and Maritime Law.  His academic journey includes the completion of an LL.M. in Environment and Natural Resources Law from The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI SAS) and an integrated BBA LL.B. degree from Galgotias University.

His dedication to research is evident through his numerous achievements and publications. He has received the Best Researcher Award in the National Moot Court Competition organized by Kalinga University, Raipur. His scholarly contributions include various peer-reviewed papers in renowned journals.

Beyond academia, he actively participates in judging various competitions to promote legal education and advocacy. He has been invited as a judge in prestigious international competitions such as the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot organized by AIAC & APAC and the Stetson International Environmental Moot Competition organized by SRM University. He has also lent his expertise to intra-moot competitions organized by Galgotias University, where he provides invaluable insights to aspiring legal professionals.

His dedication to the field of law, combined with his passion for teaching and research, makes him an invaluable asset to the Lingaya’s Family & beyond.
