Inauguration of Lingaya’s State-of-the-Art Auditorium by Haryana Governor

A momentous occasion unfolded at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth on August 21, 2024, as His Excellency, Governor of Haryana, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, graced Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth to inaugurate our incredible auditorium “Rangmanch”. This significant event marked a milestone in the university’s journey towards academic excellence and holistic development.

The inauguration started off with a traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. The Chancellor of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, Shri Picheshwar Gadde, extended a warm welcome to the Honorable Governor with a bouquet of flowers. As the ribbon was cut, the doors to the auditorium were officially opened, revealing a state-of-the-art facility designed to inspire and empower students. The inauguration ceremony was conducted by Ms. Aditi Arora.

The inauguration was a vibrant affair which commenced with a prayer for unity, followed by felicitation of the Honorable Governor and cultural performances that showcased the university’s talent and creativity. Students from various departments presented captivating dance performances, a heartfelt welcome speech, and a thought-provoking short film that highlighted the university’s achievements and aspirations. The event was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Chinnaiyan Ramasubramanyam, Director Dr. Bhavik Kuchipudi, Patron, Shri M.K. Soni, Registrar Prem Kumar Salwan, Joint Registrar, Event Council Head, as well as all department heads, and both teaching and non-teaching staff.

In his address, Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya conveyed his admiration for Lingaya Vidyapeeth’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering a conducive learning environment. He encouraged the students to embrace their full potential and strive to become job givers rather than job seekers. The Governor’s words resonated with the audience, inspiring them to dream big and make a positive impact on society.

Chancellor Shri Picheshwar Gadde expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Governor for his presence and support. He emphasized the significance of the new auditorium in enhancing the university’s academic and extracurricular activities. The auditorium would serve as a platform for intellectual discourse, cultural events, and academic conferences, fostering a vibrant campus life. Finally, the event was concluded with the national anthem.
