The Role and Magnitude of Soft Skills in Career Development occupies a pivotal role that can never be underestimated or overlooked. Private Sector and Public Sector Enterprises, as well as Educational Institutions spend huge sums of money on Training their Staff and Students to be trained in Soft Skills. Even our institution is in the throes of imparting Soft Skills to all its students across all disciplines. The reason for this is that there is so much to cover which is not really covered through formal curriculum in schools and colleges. Most of the information imparted is basic and not detailed at best.
Students taking the Soft Skill training will ideally be able to become Team Leaders, Innovators and awesome communicators through a customised development program designed to suit their own particular needs. They will be able to speak fluently, easily and flawlessly. They will be able to speak publicly to varied audiences, they will be in a position to give powerful presentations. They will become great story tellers, wonderful orators, be in a position to have efficient negotiating skills and blossom into charismatic leaders. We at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth aim at targeting these self-same skills in our students. It is a humble request that all students and parents please try and co-operate with this venture.
In this training which is do able students will be able to think clearly with grammatical correctness. It is presentable which means that information is put forward clearly and effectively. It is Speakable that is to say words and ideas emerge fluently. All this is achievable through Public Speaking without nervousness, Presentations through groups and singly, Group Discussion Sessions, and Personal Interviews. All this is made possible through games, group activity and interactions. The idea is for you to lose your fears, master the English Language skills and enjoy a cool and funfilled journey.
So, here’s hoping to be seeing all of you filled with energetic zeal to go forth and reach for the stars because all thing are possible for those who believe and work towards their goals.
